Hey y'all

So lets filling you all in . Today is my first day of work without a trainer ! thanks right i earned my ears :D

Yesterday was start of hurricane season and i was home alone when we got a huge storm and im not going to lie i was totally scared cuz im not use to that but its all ok cuz it was just a storm and not a hurricane .

so but i just have to tell you i honestly love my roommates . im stilling in my living room with Chantel,Lauren, and Becca and we are just having a wonderful time hanging out together.

But life here is good , I love my location,Toontown, Its supper fun and everyone is really nice AND i get to rock supper hot mom jean shorts yea i did just say that. I was nervous at first to be at Magic Kingdom becuase its our biggest park but i wouldnt have it any other way. We get so many people in that have a button telling you what they are celebrating and that makes me so happy and its fun to talk to them about the things they are celebrating . Oh my favorite was a couple celebrating there wedding anniversary, they were prolly in there 80s and he had a big kings crown and she had a tiara on . It was the most adorable thing ever .

OH and i got paid today ! so freaking sweet :D

Welcome Home

Hey guys

so im all check in and so excited to share my experiences with you all, First off im going to point out that its been so crazy the last few hours and so much has happened im not sure if i will write it all on one post. Its also 7 im the morning and for so reason i have been awake for a while and so i thought it would be a good time to write a post .

Sunday May 23rd, My mom and i took a plane from DC to FL and that was honestly the best trip ever. After freaking out over packing and worring that it was going to weigh to much it was really nothing to worry about. My largest suite case was over my 3 lbs and that was and easy fix cuz my other ones i packed were no where near that heavy . Anywho we got in at about 3:40 and met up with my roommate Nicole . We rented a car and headed off to the hotel . For dinner we met up with Becca and Lauren and there parents at pant hollywood in Downtown Disney witch was so much fun .

Monday May 24th, Nicole and i woke up and had my mom drive us to met Becca and Lauren at Vista Way and after crappy google map directions we made it! there were some other people there all ready waiting at security so we made our way over there. (So heres my advice get there early but be able to run this will make since later) Lots of other people showed up and we relized it wasnt going to go by when you got there but who could get to welcome center first. so we slowly made our way closer and closer to the middle of the street and long story longer we started talking to two other girls Chantel, and Kira. There were going to room together and they also wanted a 3 bedroom in Chatham and it just clicked we join our little groups together :) so im not sure what happened but next thing i know someones running and then we are yeliing at Kira to run faster so we can get inline and well i would have loved to been watching from the side lines to see how silly we all looked running .But we were one of the first groups to get through and we got a 3 bedroom in Chatham !! we are so excited! then we got our house keys and our ID pictures taken and got set a time to go to casting . We loaded into Beccas car and went to our new apartment to clam room and we mostly were just running around it and squealing with excitement ! we then went to the Chatham bus stop and got on a bus to take us to casting witch is prolly the coolest building ever i swear. and we found out our job locations :D Im working in Magic Kingdom in Toontown !! im really excited and i cant wait to start. after casting we got our stuff and started to move in a little bit but had to go to housing meeting that was realllllllyyyyyyy long but now we are done till wednesday when its time for Traditions. Im happy to anounce im 100% unpacked .

so bottom line is check in is really crazy and really fun mostly cuz your so excited and if you have awesome roomies its a great way to hang out and bond with them.

im going to enjoy my last day off for a while but have a Magical day

my brain is all jumbled right now ...

ok y'all i know its wednesday and i know im suppose to post on tuesday but im not even sure if this really makes a difference to any one but me , so moving on . So lets just talk some more about packing .. i know lets just talk more about the worst topic ever ... well i mean there is worse but right now i just want to snap my fingers like Mary Poppins or wave around a wand like merlin and have it done .. sadly im not practically perfect in every way or a wizard ... OMG lets actually talk about WIZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER! how freakin cool does that look??? im such a big Harry Potter nerd i love it :D im so excited to go and see the shops cuz its looks just like the set y'all the legit set and i think that is magical ! and im soooooo excited for the castle because you can go in to it and they have paitins that talk and now i just kinda wanna live there because as cool as being a princess sounds i think being a witch would be way cooler and less of a job but you dont get a crown .. oh well i can totally handle that. ok well that was enough ADD for now .. so back on track .. packing right ok so i just wish i was driving so i could put all my stuff in the car and not have to leave stuff be hind or pay SO MUCH money to the Air-Tran witch let me tell you has gotten TO much of my money . Any way its hard for me to no over pack .... BUT im so excited i cant wait today is the 19th and that means the first wave of CPers are checked in and starting there adventure and im not going to lie im totally jealous but at the same time im not . i know your all like WHAT YOR NOT ? well im not cuz im sad . If there is any thing i hate more then packing its saying goodbye and having to leave my family and my sisters ! whos going to feed me ? or watch Glee with me ? or more importantly the same Glee 50000000 times with me or put on an impromptu dance performance during dinner. I know these are all things im gong to miss a lot and dont get me wrong im ready to go and to have an adventure but i know its going to be hard to be aways from them. Its been something i havent really let myself think about cuz it totally would make me sad and now that i have like 4 days left here im sad and excited and stressed all at the same time . well yea so now that i totally depressed myself im going to leave you all with a video witch im sure all the CPers are all felling the same way right now ! (not depressed but the same way as the people in the video ...)

Packing ... kinda ?

Hey everyoneeeee

so its getting so close i cant wait! i have 12 more days till i leave and 13 till i check in :) this picture i posted at the top of the blog made me so happy when i saw it i love the colors and the castle ! ok any who last night i got to video chat with one of my soon to be roomies and i talked with another one on the phone for some time and it made me so happy :D i love them and i feel so thankful to have them . I have kinda started packing and its very over whelming . I have so many things i want to bring and not enough room ! it doesnt help that im flying and the minute you go over 50 pounds the airlines want to clean you our of your life savings ! But it will work out and i guess i will just have to replace whatever i dont bring !

If the amazing people and the excitement to work at disney want reason enough for me to want to leave now the current weather would be. I dont know about you guys but the fact that im wearing jeans and jackets out makes me want to leave for sunny FL now!!

19 DAYYYYSSSSS

Hey everyone
( Im sorry for the lameness of this post)

all i have to day is 19 ! i have 19 days till i leave and i CANT WAITTTTTTT! im so excited :) but im not going to lie im not exciting about packing .... im the worst packer in the world and right now my room looks like my closet exploded all over my floor and the stuff on the floor is only like half of the stuff i wanna bring . So let see whats is new ? well i have good news and bad news. so bad news first, we lost one of our roommates she can no longer do the program so thats sad but we got lucky and now we have Nicole Thomson and we are totally happy to have her in our D-Fam . In other exciting news people are starting to leave that are checking in on the 19th ... school is ALMOST over so yea thats really exciting ... i wish i could give you a packing list or make a better packing blog but i really dont even know what im brining yet . Im hoping to film so you can see the nonsense that will be me and all my luggage. Im just so excited for a new place and to finally get to hang out with my roomies!

26 daysssss

HELLLOOOOOOOOOOO

well i have some exciting news ! wanna hear it???? are you ready??? I HAVE LESS THAN A MONTH TILL DISNEY!! i cant believe how fast its coming up. I thought waiting to get accepted was hard and then i thought waiting till my arrival date was hard well its not as hard as the next 26 days is going to be. Thats right i have 26 days till i get on a plane and make the happiest place on earth my home! On top of that i aced my Dance paper and my math test today and i tell you this cuz to be honest im very impressed with myself cuz i have totally checked out . All i can think about is Disney and how much fun its going to be and i keep wondering where im going to work and how my days are going to be like when i get there ! I keep thinking of things i have never done before and how much fun it will be to do them once i get there ! Like i have never had a Dole Whip and i know its crazy that i have never had one but keep in mind i have only ever been to Walt Disney World once and there arent every popular in DisneyLand or maybe its just me ... So i have started to pack and well .. hmm its going to be an... adventure ? yes i think thats the word for it . If you know me im such and over packer i have to have everything and its worse cuz i need to bring more than just clothes and shoes i need my Fan and my bedding. Im sure everyone whos packed for College is thinking been there done that well i havent so this well be such an experience. And i got two e-mails from disney today about the look and about classes and i got a call on saturday form a very excited CM who just wanted to remind me of my arrival date :) ... Well thats it for now . I CANT WAITTTTT its going to come up so fast! keep an eye out for another vlog ( prolly on packing) and have a MAGICAL DAY!!

Hey Everyone!

I hope your week has been going well. On monday it marked one month for those who are going down on 19th! and im not going to lie i got jealous even tho im only going down like a week later and my one month mark is on saturday ! Im not sure if i told you all this yet but i got my Disney shirt !! i love it :) im someone who loves having shirts for stuff so this is a win . So i have seriously started to think about packing more and its very overwhelming . i have a list kinda of but its still not really final. I know i have a few things that i have to bring that are a little different than most people. 1) is my panini maker b/c its awesome! 2) my fan b/c i love the sound it makes when i sleep. 3) my random selection of cups . yess i know random but thos are things on my dont not forget list. so im sorry life is slow in the disney aspect right now. but i did go see Nicole for the weekend and it was so fun!!! we did some Vlogging and i would post them here but my layout cuts my video off so i will post my channel link here and i would love for you all to watch!!

Hey y'all

its another week and there for another blog :) so not a ton going on but its NICE out !! i love flip flops and dresses it makes me even more excited for Disney !! so does chatting with everyone :) i have just been in the best mood !

WE FOUND ANOTHER ROOMMATE :) so happy her name is Lauren so there is 4 of us now and i think we will get along swimmingly

i just can hardly wait and this lovely weather is making so hard to concentrate and i just keep thing about how nice it will be in FL!! today i get a chance to hang with my friend Brittany and shes going to do the program for Fall so its nice to hangout with someone who is going down and as excited as i am !

Becky and Julie are supper awesome and they are and did a thing called Pen Pals and now i have a Pen Pal to write with before i go to disney !! and gettin mail is supper fun so if you got one do it! and because Becky and Julie spent a lot of time working on it so it would be awesome if you could fallow throw!

OMG 30 followers thank you all so much :) so i was bad and havent watched a new disney movie at all in the last few days so i wont give you a this this week. and hopeful more good information soon.

"Honey wheres my Super suit?!?!"

HELLO EVERYONE,

I hope your week is going good. Mine is well busy i have two friends here from home and its so fun they have been dragging me all over the city witch is great cuz tomorrow is APRIL i cant believe i have only 2 months to go thats blows my mind.. So whats new in the world of a CP? um T-Shirts i ordered mine and im supper excited about it! Nicole and i are talking about making our own cause we are awesome like that (and we say own we mean like fabric markers and tie dye) oh and Tokbox last friday was sooo much fun! we ended up with 3 alumni in there and i got some questions answered and heard some good stories ! i just love talking with everyone it makes me even more excited!!!

so a question is it me or does everyone else see disney everywhere???? cuz talking around the city im seen so much disney merch and yesterday i totally found a hidden Mickey on an Office Max truck! it was nuts.


oh i found my traditions dress :) sooo happy :) now i need shoes.... so thats kind of that not a lot going on i got my luggage it was a week of good finds i guess .

"Sha-la-la-la-la-la My, oh, my ..."

Its Tuesday and that means it Blog time

So i just got back from South Carolina and it was a BLAST! Us Airways and I are no longer friends but thats another story . Im just happy i will not be flying down to FL with them .

Whats new in CP world you ask ? um for me not much other than some kind person decided to take on the task of making and ordering T-shirts, Tanks and Hoodies ! im very impressed. My room mates and i are going to look for one more person to live with us . There is only 3 of us and we want to live with 6 but we dont want to get down there with 6 and then have them split us all up! Oh I know what I wanted to share with you all , When i was at College of Charleston in SC i got a chance to met there Campus Rep (shes a friends of my friend) and we chatted for a bit and this is what she said that if you want to live with some one you all hold hand walk up together and tell them we want whatever complex you want and how many rooms! she was really nice and fun to talk to! she gave me her number and told me to call her if i had questions! I also have another Disney contact that i need to get a hold of ! she did the program a few times so any good question i should ask her?? leave me a comment ! I also did some shopping in Charleston and got some good stuff but i just heard that Target has some good stuff so i need to hit them up !


Umm so yea i think thats about it . I need to start packing not for Disney as much as i need to pack stuff i wont need in boxes .. yea so thats an update for ya all .. Im going to watch the Little Mermaid and so math HW...

Waiting and Waiting ..

Hey Guys ,

not a lot new here but im trying to keep posting weekly so im in the habit so i can try really hard to do it when im in FL! im also waiting for John Henselmeier to upload his new Vlog haha ...

I got to video chat with a bunch of people on saturday! that was a blast :) i was saposta work and then i got a call about an hour before saying the family i was going to babysit wasnt going out so i got to chat ! It was the first time i had done the group chat and i shall be doing it more often now. thanks Julie and Becky for organizing it! next time we shall get 20 people!!


I have been watching my disney movies and i love it. It so fun to watch them and some time with my sister lilli. We watched Aladdin the other day and it was so fun! i love watching Disney movies with kids they just makes it a 100 times funner. Lilli also loves to sing so we sang together :)

Hey Guys,

so not a lot going on here. Finally the first nice day in a LONG time. I get to go see my Bestie (Jackie) in about 8 days and im sooooooo excited ! we are going to have a lot of fun an im going to try and shop for nice outfits to wear at Disney ! right after i come back a have 2 other friends (Matt and Caitlin) coming to visit me for there SB and we are going to tour the White House ! Its going to be so fun. This is really all thats getting me through March. Sad news Becky cant room with us anymore because shes needs to pick a different arrival date but its ok cuz we are still going to hang out a lot when she get down there! Im also watching a Disney Movie a day :) its going well i only missed one day so i think this shows that i have to much time on my hands but hey its all good ...

I started off with Alice in Wonderland the 50's one and its one of my favorites i love the colors and just everything about it :) its one of thos movie i didnt like till i was older but it makes me smile

I watched Meet The Robinson next and honestly this movie makes me laugh all the time. its so funny and i find something different every time i watch it . I love the idea of family of how family is all different :) its such a sweet story

This is a movie i havent watched in a long time , mostly cuz i dont care for lindsay lohan that much but this is really a classy movie . I love the dance that that Annie and her butler Martin do ! and i think this movie was pretty cool when it came out because they used one girl for two. I still remember seeing the Disney behind the scenes thing when they showed her acting with herself.. poor lindsay i wish she had it all together... anywho off the topic. so in the end i enjoyed watching it again :)

Oh all i have to say is Ann Hathaway! she is so wonderful i love seeing her in this awkward role because i just saw the new Alice and she really has come a long way . I love how she is so personable in her roles and in this movie you just want to be her best friend ! i cant wait to watch the next one!

Um pretty much this movie is the BEST! i hear they are making another one and im not sure how i feel about that, but anywho i love this movie there are so many funny lines and Boo ( whos name is Mary) reminds me of my little sister !

Ok so im jazzed and just got back from the midnight showing of Alice in Wonderland... it was ahh there are no words for how much i LOVED it .. i think i just sat mouth open wide eyed the WHOLE time.. I went with my mommy and we had a blast.. all tho we get stalked a bit by this creepy girl but whatever it was great cuz this will prolly be one of the last cool things we get to do together before i leave. Ok so im so jazzed and this is really ADD but thats me so .. anywho i can now say that my mom likes 3D she normally doesent and wont go to a movie in 3D and now i would like to thank disney and the whole Alice cast for changing it!! this utterly crappy day that i had (well i guess yesterday) was changed Oh and there was like 30 people in the whole theater all i can say is MAGICAL

Hey All ,

so i know i posted yesterday but then i got to thinking , What is going to keep me busy till Disney?? then i hit me i own like a TON of Disney movies why not watch them???? so this is my challenge to myself and to you if you want to join, watch a Disney movie a day till you get down to FL.. i had a little trouble sticking to all movies so i stretched a bit and will be watching some Little Einsteins with my sister Lilli but its all for the cause of keeping me entertained ... i will list the movies/show ( on dvd) that i have watched every time i update.... im going to watch the movies from the date they were released on DVD i know its random but this challenge is to ..

Other Disney update.... Becca, Becky and I got a new Roommate Lisa! but im so worried we all wont be able to live together. I have been hearing a lot of people say that you can be inline together and you still wont be able to live together and i really dont want new roommate the day i move in that would be so sad. So if you guys know anything about how to make sure (other than the roommate match) we can room together that would sweet. please post here if you have any ideas....

Language Pins

Hey guys ,

so i wanted to tell you that i have decided to get a Language pin when i go down to FL!! For Sign Language !! Im really excited and i know that there are others in the FB group that are going to do it for ASL to! so i would have someone to practice with before i have to go take my test :)

So to clarify a Language Pin at Disney just means you get a cool pin with a flag for the country your language is from or for ASL you get Mickey hands :) and they go on you name tag to let guest know you can speak this language!!

so what do i have to do to pass this ??? i have to really WORK on my sign ... and my receptive skill... I FaceBooked my ASL teacher from HS but i need to call her and ask her what she think is the best way to do this and i need to look into signs that are spastic to FL because every state has its own signs .. its like an accent ..

So why do i want to do this?? well i love sign and i miss it a LOT and it would tell me that im actually good at it and that im good enough to communicate with Deaf people !

so now i have to stick to it and study up :)

I found out about disney college program from a my friend Ruth who had a cousin Brenna did the program a few years ago!! Disney's web site was a world of help and knowledge after i made my decision to apply in the program. Online also has a TON of information and that was the best to read what other people thought of going to the program . One thing i have learned this far is that its a BIG OLD WAITING GAME!!

So January 22 was the day the E- presentation went up!! My dad was visiting and i was dropping him off at the airport and when i was waiting to get back on the metro and i check to see if they were up and there it was and i was 30min a way from home OY!! so after the longest metro ride EVER!! i got my computer and watched the presentation and if i thought i was excited to go before now i was dying!!! After you watch the presentation then its time for the web base interview witch you either pass or fail .... scary really.. so thats where my parents came in :) they helped me do it and i passed ! thank god . and now i was invited to have a phone interview !!!


January 25
After passing my online stuff i called and got an interview for the 25 . I did a lot of reading online and had answers ready for question i thought they might ask . Sadly i dont have as much to tell you about the interview because i was so nervous .. but it went well and mom apparently listened in on the other side of the door haha they called right on time !! so then i had to wait and if it wasnt for the Disney College Program Facebook Group i think i would have died !!

and i waited and waited and got crankier and crankier ... and it sucked cuz we got snowed in ...

February 13

THE MOST AMAZING SATURDAY IN THE WORLD!! to be honest i was losing hope and didnt think it would ever come :( but there it was i was offered a role in Merchandise and im so happy !!

a few days latter i got my Purple Folder <3

I also found Becca and Becky my future room mate !! they are so sweet! the glories of Facebook :)

well that was a LOT !!

Hey All

so i gave in and decided to start a blog :) Mostly for family and friends to keep up with this experience
I will start with this and then post different post on everything that has happened !!
So Im Danielle and im 19 ! Im from Minnesota but im living in Maryland right now .
So this blog is all about my journey with the Disney College Program !!! i cant even tell you how excited i am !!
